A week in context

An illustrative story about how the people around an athlete can see different parts of the same development journey.

Illustrative ARC scenario. This story shows how ARC is designed to connect different perspectives around an athlete’s development. It does not represent an actual participant.

One week, several places

A soccer player has team practice on Tuesday and Thursday, completes a school workout, and has a match on Saturday. The player wants to add individual training. Each activity makes sense by itself. The harder question is how they fit together.

The team coach knows the plan for practice. The school instructor knows the workout. At home, a parent sees the late arrival and the schoolwork still waiting. The player carries all those experiences into the same week.

A question with something behind it

The player records the completed activity and looks at the upcoming schedule. Instead of asking whether more training is always better, they ask Kai:

“I have two team practices and a match this week, and I logged a school workout. What should I discuss with my coach before adding more training?”

An illustrative response points back to those facts: the existing practices, match and workout. It suggests asking the coach how additional training would fit with the team's plan. The next step is a conversation about which work matters most before Saturday.

This example demonstrates a question and a practical discussion prompt. It does not show ARC automatically contacting the coach, changing the calendar or prescribing a workout. Kai's access to relevant context depends on the player's permission and the working application.

Different people, different perspectives

The athlete can reflect on the week from their own record. An authorized coach can consider the information available in the coach view together with their own observations. A linked parent has a distinct perspective for supporting the player.

Those perspectives do not open every part of the record. Private check-in answers and athlete AI conversations are not displayed in linked adult views. What is shared depends on the information, relationship, age and applicable product version. The public Privacy Policy explains those distinctions.

The action happens away from the screen

The story's useful ending is not another metric. The player asks their coach a better question before adding work. The coach can explain the week's priorities. At home, the family can support the practical plan.

No result is promised. A clearer conversation is worthwhile because it gives the people involved a specific situation to work through together, with the player taking an active part.
